Mama Mia!

Things I loved about Mama Mia:
1. The setting - I just love the beach/island, the clear waters, the blue skies and most importantly the stars at night.
2. The simpleness - Loved the way the characters were portrayed. Simple dressing, simple make up, messy beach hair... simple life.
3. Meryl Streep - She is one of those Hollywood actresses that are proud to age with grace. Hey! I think they are smart cause at the end of the day, you will eventually need people for old/aged roles right?
4. ABBA!!! - Listening to all those ABBA songs...they don't make music like that anymore.

Things I didn't really liked:
1. Pierce Brosnan - His hairy chest and belly? Well, thank God I'm not really a 007 fan.
2. Watching the movie with people who don't know how to appreciate it - Laughing at scenes that was not even funny. They laughed because the character started to sing again and felt that it was stupid and cliche. Hello a musical is called a musical because there is music/singing/dancing?? Solved the "da vincci code" yet? And why laugh?? Because you were embarrassed?? Well, last time I checked, you're sitting in the cinema watching the movie; not acting in it!

Anyhow, on a more positive note, I would so get the sound track (even though I already have the full ABBA collection). It's refreshing to listen to the re-mixed version. Liked the part where they added in a bit of rock into Dancing Queen. Brilliant! Just Brilliant!

Oh! Would also get mum to watch it. She will so love it! :)
