Like what the Chinese proverb said: 家里靠父母, 出外靠朋友。(literally translated “At home you depend on your parents, out of home you depend on friends.”) And I totally agree on that. Hands down.
You see, I have this bunch (5 to be exact) of wacko/mentally retarded/psycho/crazy friends who I call family. They are my 姐妹(sisters in Chinese).
World, I’m more than honored to introduce you to (in alphabetical order) “Bloody” Foo(l), Fatty” Ho, “Horny” Tan, “Sumo” Lui and “Tiger” Khoo. *Haha…they are so going to kill me if they read this. :p
Anyhow, how the 6 of us came together is quite a funny story. I know “Fatty” through her mum (her mum fetches students; fetched my brother before). Then I joined St. Johns in school in form 3. “Fatty” met “Bloody” during area activities. Coincidentally, “Tiger” is also a St. John member; but her history with “Fatty” started way before that. During form 1, “Fatty” was apparently bullied by “Tiger”. “Sumo”, “Horny” and “Tiger” went to the same primary school. “Horny” and “Sumo” used to be the same gang and didn’t like the gang “Tiger” was in but the gang combined during secondary years. “Horny” and “Tiger” used to take the same bus to school. In form 4 and 5, “Tiger” and “Sumo” was in the same class and sat next to each other. But the funny thing is, all of us never mixed with each other in school. We were all just schoolmates.
So how did we finally end up like this? Beats me! All I can remember is that the 5 of us girls minus “Bloody”(yes! Bloody” is actually a guy.) decided to do a little girls day out to Petaling Street. And then it continued from there…Penang and Port Dickson trips…So ±8 years later, here we are; closer than ever.
I must admit that we don’t get along fine all the time. We have stupid fights, disagreements etc… but at the end of the day, nothing can tear us apart. Some of our ex-schoolmates even commented that our group/gang is impossible to mix with. But, our little dysfunctional family is what that is keeping us together. *hearts
Oh! You guys must be wondering what jolted me to write a post on this topic. Well, it’s because after 3 years of collage and near 4 years of working life, I suddenly realized (no offence) but the people I met along the way and eventually became friends can never match up to what I have waiting for me back in Klang.
One last note before I end this post.
“ To my jimuis. Me hearts all of u long long.”

A little thinggy "Horny" did with her very bad photoshop skill some time ago
p/s: And what's my name?? "Mona"Lisa Lim. ^_^
