Anyway, me being kinda paranoid about the recent A(H1N1) virus spreading around and I had 3 of of the 5 symptoms ( fever, joint pain and cough), I finally decided to go seek a doctor.
Wednesday (1 July) @ 8.45pm: Went to the doctor's. Told him all my symptoms. He had this look on his face that I'm 100% not infected by the flu, but he kept asking me am I married. Huh? Okay, It's normal procedure for him to ask me this in case if I was pregnant and there are certain medication that I cannot take. But when he next told me... I nearly fell of my chair. According to him, feeling dizzy and vomitish for no reason is actually a symptom of morning sickness. Ha! Me pregnant? My doctor is a funny man. But doctor, I don't get dizzy only in the morning, and I did you hear me say that I vomited? And.... my dizziness is more of a swaying, not the room spinning.... geez...... why never listen finish only diagnose one?? So kam cheong for what? Anyhow, after we clarified that I'm not pregnant and I my blood pressure is also normal, he then gave me some paracetamol, pain killers and cough pills and I was good to go.
Wednesday (1 July) @ 9.30pm: After food, took the pills as prescribed. Checked to see again if the pills given was correct (Side track a bit. I'm actually allergic to Panadol (the paracetamol brand) and Ponstant (the pain killer brand). This doctor of mine is aware of this (that's why I only go to him) and he is always very careful when prescribing drugs for me.) 2 paracetamol, 1 pain killer and 1 cough pill after meal, swolled and after 1/2 an hour, I was feeling a bit drowsy. Should be the cough pills. Went to bed.
Wednesday (1 July) @ 10.57pm: Woke up to feel irritation to my eyes. Looked intot he mirror and OMG!! My eyes were swollen!! Asked mummy to rush me back tot he clinic. Luckily the clinic was not closed yet.
taken at 11.30pmThe doctor scrtached his head as I scratched my itcy body. How could this happen? He did not prescribe me any wrong medicine. And I totally agree. But why is this still happening? Aye... solution was either a jab or pills. I took the pills (jabs creeps the hell out of me!)
Wednesday (1 July) @ 11.30pm: Took down evidence of the whole drama and also swolled my pills. Hope that it works and helps lessen the swelling. If not, I have to go back for that jab. Slept like a dead goldfish after that.
Man! Those was some super powerful drugs. I pratically slept throught the whole day. When I finally woke up after nearly 17 hours, this was how I look like.
